I have a 3 level approver workflow. The approval takes place fine. There is an audit requirement that when workflow runs, item shoud be non editable. Now for 3rd approval, I have some list fields on the nintex task form. Now I have to update these fields in the main list. Although they are connected, I can't update them as the item is read only. How to update these fields in the main list. This is for office 365

@Vaibhav_kaulkar while this does seem like somewhat of a conflict in business logic, you might be able get around this by updating the item permissions and form layout instead of just setting the item to 'Read Only'. By updating the permissions via workflow for everyone except the Nintex Workflow App (you can find your App ID within your site app permission page in SharePoint Online) you should still be able to use elevated permissions within an Action Set to update the item via workflow.
