Hi everyone,

I am looking to set the value of a URL field equal to a URL with a Description to give it a cleaner look. I know that in SharePoint 2013 you were able to achieve this by setting the field value to equal: URL, Description...

I have tried the following in Nintex for Office 365 without luck:

URL, Description

Description, URL

URL, "Description"

"Description", URL

Any ideas? I figure that there has to be a way to achieve this, and wanted to get some feedback as we are new to using Nintex for 365.

Thank you!

The format is: URL,Description

Make sure you have a space between the two entries.

I have tried that with the space as you can see in this screenshot.

And this is my result:

What am I doing wrong here?

Hi,

obviously Nintex actions are following capabilities of SharePoint, thus it should be sufficient... I read these two Technet questions and it seems that should really work for you:

  1. https://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/d972c8c0-4f8d-432d-9bec-c3e332245ee6/sharepoint-designer-workflow-setting-hyperlink-field-in-list?forum=sharepointcustomizationlegacy

The second one tells a bit more: maybe you should try the different separators used: "#;" vs ", "?
