Issue Description

When you create an AssureSign Service Instance, and use an incorrect AssureSign Environment URL on the registratioan page in Management, an error occurs. However, the error is vague and does not indicate that the Environment URL is incorrect

 

Resolution

The fix is available in:

 

  1. Ensure you have the correct K2 version and/or Cumulative update installed. See KB001893 to see what Fix Pack level you have installed.
  2. Download the latest Fix Pack using the links in the table above for the version you require.
  3. Install the Fix Pack to apply the fix.
  4. You need to clear your browser cache with the All Time option.

Considerations

The changes that were implemented are only for handling error messages better and to give the users a better idea of why things are failing. However, on the registration page we cannot display specific error information as this would be a contravention of security policies.
