In NAC, is it possible to assign a task without sending out an email?  I think the functionality to control a task email was available in On-Prem, and not available in O365.  Looking at the NAC task configuration, I don’t see a way to disable the email, but I just wanted to double check .

Hi @SShaffer2,

I recently posed that question to Nintex Support and they said it is not currently possible to suppress the email from a task in NAC. So the email always gets sent out on task assignment.

I have had users request it not be sent. I just instructed them to create a rule in Outlook and send all the emails to a folder.

Here is an entry for this in Nintex Ideas to vote for: Assign a task without email notification | Nintex Ideas

Yes, it is possible. Just pass a null (blank) text variable into the task email body and the email won’t go out, but the task itself will still generate and be available for task assignees to action.

Thanks @brandiwoodson. This worked!

Just had to make sure to disable the Footer Text option in the “Assign a task to multiple users” action.

Oh. Yeah. I forgot about that. We disable this 99.9% of the time anyways so was thinking about it. :)
