I have a need to look up user details such as Homedrive. I was browsing the built in smartobjects and found in Active Directory>AD User which has the fields but does not provide a method to find the homedrive for a user just create or update a user and some others which do not help in this scenario also.

I'm not sure if this can be done with the Out-of-the box AD SmartObject. Perhaps, you can usethe community Dynamics AD broker for your scenario.
