Is there ANY way yet to customize the Out of Office Task Emails?    It would be extremely helpful if the task email was the exact same as the custom email we sent to the original owner.

 

Especially when you have multiple applications with different configured task emails.

The Action your task via email is not applicable to any of our applications and do not make sense at all.


To action your task via e-mail, reply with one of the following words:
You may also reply with one of the standard action words:

  • Redirect
  • Delegate
  • Sleep

 

I did see some other posts / feature requests and such - figured I'd ask again...  See if anybody has found a temporary work around.

I believe this is still a feature request.  An alternative option is to disable out-of-office notification so the end users won't get the default notification email. Here are the steps to disable the out-of-office notification.


 


Here are the steps to disable the out of office notification.


1. Create a backup of your K2HostServer.exe.config (i.e. "C:Program FilesK2Host ServerBinK2HostServer.exe.config")


2. Edit your K2HostServer.exe.config


3. Look for the following line:


<outOfOffice notificationsEnabled="true" />


4. Change the notificationsEnabled from "true" to "false":


<outOfOffice notificationsEnabled="false" />


5. Save the changes


6. Restart your K2 service
