Hi,

Anyone know how to reduce the size of the SQL K2_log_1.ldf file, it's reached over 44 GB without much use.

K2 logging options are default and this is a dev server so doesn't get much use.

How do we get the size down please, as this is preventing backups from working.

All the other DB files are fine and around a gig, just this log file is astromonical.

Thanks

Hi  @Sharpharp1;

I think you need to shrink that log file and extend the disk space, please follow this doc on howTo(https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/sql/relational-databases/databases/shrink-a-database?view=sql-server-2017).

Additionally:-https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms178037(v=sql.105).aspx

Please ensure that you reach out to your DBA regarding this issue and should you need hands on assistance from K2 to help you with shrinking this file, our Remote Services team would be happy to assist you(https://portal.k2.com/ticket/rsrequest).

Kind regards;

Widson.
