Please could you clarify the question that you have. As I understand you have a checkbox list control so so have multiple checkboxes than can be checked, right?

When are the checkboxes checked/unchecked and when do you want to restore their states?

Are some of them checked by default and want to keep them checked when the form initializes from the default state?

Some more information about your problem would be appreciated.
