Dear all,

As we know, when add a decimal field on a smartobject it is created in DB as decimal(18,2). But if I want to define it to decimal(18,9), who can tell me how to do it?

Thank you very much.

Hi,

Unfortunately, there is currently no out of the box way of defining the decimal places of a decimal type property.  I believe there is an existing feature request in place for this.

The ability to define the scale of a SmartBox SmartObject decimal property has been added to the SmartObject designer in the K2 Designer site for K2 Cloud Update 2 and will be availalble in the next K2 Five (on-prem) release. For more info read the documentation here: http://help.k2.com/onlinehelp/k2cloud/userguide/update_2/default.htm#Create/SmartObjects/SmartBox.htm%3FTocPath%3DCreate%7CSmartObjects%7C_____10

Dear K2eric,

Thank you very much for your reply. Could you tell me the time next  K2 Five(on-prem) release?

Best regards,

As it stands the next on prem (K2 Five 5.1) release is slated for around the June timeframe.

Dear K2eric,
