I had an external address with underscore. Do you think that might be the problem?

Are you able to send to an internal email address? Without underscore and with underscore?
Are you able to send to an external email address without the underscore?
Actually most of the email tools do not respect the RFC for email. So yeah it’s the underscores.
For instance, these are valid addresses, but no tool accepts them.
- postmaster@r123.123.123.123]
- " "@example.org
- "john..doe"@example.org
- very.(),:;<>g]\".VERY.\"very@\\ \"very\".unusual"@strange.example.com
