Writing data from from K2 SmartObject datasource to Sharepoint 2010 list using K2 workflow

Experiencing challenges writing to 2010 sharepoint list using K2 workflow. On selecting the option Create List Item from the List Item menu option, I am unable to make use of the options 1) browse to list or 2) use a list that is referenced in this workflow. The reference fields are empty and not providing the option to navigate to a site or list. The smartobjects were created in K2 (not from sharepoint). How do I write to a sharepoint list that is not referenced in the workflow or smartobjects created in K2? Is this a limitation of sharepoint 2010?

Hi,

In order for the SP 2010 Site Collection to be listed in the drop down of any of the wizard, the K2 for SharePoint solutions need to be deployed to that listlibrary by running the "K2 for SharePoint Configuration Wizard" to deploy, update and re-activate the K2 Features and Configurations for the site collection.

For custom SmartObjects to show in workflow wizards etc. you need t check the “Allow this SmartObject to be use in workflows” option on the general tab of the SmartObject create page.
