unable to find AD Users in K2 Management (blackpearl)

K2 AD User smartobject shows all users however, while adding users to role the user search return no records.

Similarly when redirecting worklist the user search list returns no records.

Hi there,

Would you happen to have multiple domains configured? If you do, kindly check whether all are reachable from the K2 server while connecting as your K2 service account. You may use the AD Explorer Tool to test and confirm.

Even if there is only domain that fails to establish a connection, it is possible that you will not be able to see users when you search for them.

Thanks for your reply.

Yes, have 2 domains configured out of which 1st is the default and able to see users.

However, if I modify any domain below message is shown.

“The ADConnectionString must be modified in the K2 Workspace web.config to reflect the changes made to the domains.”

Not sure on the web.config path.

The typical location of the K2 Workspace site web.config is C:Program FilesK2 blackpearlWorkspaceSite.
