I have a multiple Yes/No fields in a Smart Object and if user selects Yes, I want to assign a specific numeric value to it. So if user selects Yes, I want to assign a Risk Value of 5. How should I do this? Rules or Workflow?
Also, what is the best way to then later add all of these values together?

To help us provide a meaningful answer to your question, it would be helpful to understand what the data source is to which you are saving the collected information. There are many ways that you could address this requirement and it is more of a question of where is the more appropriate place to implement this functionality along with taking into consideration how maintainable that functionality will be.

This is based on a SharePoint List, that I created K2 data, forms, and workflow for. K2 automatically created a smartobject for every field I had in the list.
