Hi,

Might have posted this before, but still can't figure how to do this.

1) User submits a form

2) The form has to go for approval

3) If the approver does not reply to the approval, then allow colleagues from TeamA to redirect the worklist item

How is this possible for TeamA to access the worklist item and redirect it?

The TeamA are not part of the original worklist destination users, TeamA also do not have administrative rights and i dont want to give them access to workspace either.

If there is a way, please let me know, as I need to implement this asap.

Can TeamA be made members of the Worklist destination users (without getting any emails) while the original Approver does her the email?

Thanks,

Hello,

A few ways you can go about a redirect when a user does not reply to an approval.

1) Manually - http://help.k2.com/onlinehelp/k2blackpearl/UserGuide/4.7/default.htm#Resources/Projects/AdministerK2_47/AdministeringK2P3Worklists_47.htm?Highlight=redirect

2) Worklist Control - http://help.k2.com/onlinehelp/k2smartforms/userguide/current/default.htm#Worklist_Control.html?Highlight=redirect

3) Escalation Step (based on time passed) - http://help.k2.com/onlinehelp/k2smartforms/userguide/current/default.htm#Escalation.htm?Highlight=redirect

Thanks,

Hi,

Would it work if you share the Task Acitivty to Team A? This way, no admin permission is really needed.

Hi Khan,

How do you share it though when the task is allocated at the beginning without TeamA getting the notification? I want the approver to get the email, but how do you share the task with TeamA without them getting the notification?

Hi,

I did a quick test with sharing activity from K2Workspace, the task is being allocated to the Rob account.  The share Task user (Blake account) from a different team can still see it, see image link: http://www.screencast.com/t/x1SkVoY2a16

Hi Khan,

I just tried your test.

I added a test group to the activity Approved and clicked the allow button.  Why do you have to add the test group to each outcome? Can't it be done at the top level?

Anyway, i ran workspace as a test group user, and i can see the list of all outstanding processes. When i click the box and then approve the request that works, but this isn't what i want to do. Plus there are no other actions like redirect etc.

Can the team who access the worklist be able to redirect the job to someone else.

Plus i don't want team accessing workspace, need to be done via a form so that they can redirect the request to some one else, they do not have the authority to approve the requests themselves.

Thanks,

P.S. Am i right in thinking that sharing just allows the test group to approve the activity only on the Approvers behalf?
