I am trying to modify the sample program which uses workflow to Approve or Reject a form for use in a new form.

Is it possible to not get the workflow form, and instead add rules to the form to use new fields at the bottom of the form and then submit an approval?

I have looked at the example dated 5/8/2012, but do not understand the example.

Thanks!

Hi,

Can you include some screenshots to illustrate what you are trying to achieve?

I fill out a form which has a create button.

When I action the create button, I have it display a message, then the workflow sends an email to the approver.  I then clear the form in the event the user wants to submit another form.

When the approver opens up a form by clicking on the link inside of an email the form is displayed along with a workflow box.  I have the create button hidden for now.

Is it possible to fill out my 'Office use' fields in place of having the workflow window?  I know how to make the office use fields read only for the base state, and for the workflow state, to make all fields except the office use fields read only.

Alternatively, how can you configure the workflow window?  Could I put the office use fields within the workflow window?

screenshots are attached.
