Hello All,

Assume, We have about 10,000 users and 500 forms created. Would like to control the process right (start, view, view/participate). What is the best approach to managing permissions? Now you have process * users against permissions combination.

I don't want to import users to each process to provide rights. Each process has different set of permission as the process falls in the different department in an organization.

One option can be creating AD groups, Is there any other best option available out there in K2.

Thanks.

Hi DilliBabu,

Process rights are provided by adding user or Groups.  so if you want to proceed with group you have to either create a AD groups or Sharepoint groups.

let me know if it helps you.

Hi

I’m not sure if I understand the question correctly.

Process rights are given to the groups / users specified in the designer on deployment. You can then manage this outside of the workflow by using K2 Management or K2 Workspace.

Your best approach will be to create AD groups for the sets of users that might want to start specific workflows.

If I’m missing the point, please let me know.
