Workspace was not installed during the blackpearl installation
 

Diagnoses

I am getting an error when installing smartforms:

No valid claims issuers found. Ensure that K2 Workspace 4.6.7 or higher is installed in the K2 environment.

Subsequent checking shows that K2 Workspace was not installed.
 

Resolution

Customer resolved the issue after installing K2 Workspace.

1. To add K2 Workspace, please run the "Setup.exe" from the K2 blackpearl file that you had extracted.
2. Select the "Modify" option, then add the "K2 Workspace" component
3. Proceed with the wizards the setup manager will verify what component you are attempting to add/remove at the end
4. Please retry the installation of K2 Smartforms after K2 workspace has been installed as Smartforms has a dependency on some web application that gets installed with K2 Workspace.

Additionally, the installation of K2 Smartforms 4.6.9 will require that K2 blackpearl also be on 4.6.9 and is usually upgraded in the following sequence:

1. K2 blackpearl 4.6.9
2. K2 smartforms 4.6.9
3. K2 smartforms Control Pack 4.6.9
4. K2 for SharePoint 4.6.9 (If applicable, Sharepoint 2013)
