Symptoms
We have created a workflow that assigns tasks using a "Default Client Event" from K2 Studio. However, when the workflow is run, the user task is created and assigned, then the user tries to access webpage with the worklist webpart, the worklist webpart goes into a never ending loading state, without ever rendering the tasks. This is only the case when a user views the webpart page from desktop machines, while when the user views the same page from a server machine via remote desktop, the webpart page loads in no time and displays the assigned tasks.
Diagnoses
The following resolutions have been tried and did not work:
1. Configured K2 permissions and synchronization of groups.
2. Tested switching in between the Start/View/View Participate permissions.
3. Tested the suggested resolution on: http://community.k2.com/t5/K2-blackpearl/64007-Provider-did-not-return-a-result-for-K2-lt-Domain-gt-lt/ta-p/78576
Resolution
Remove two accounts that had modify permission on the Environment library in K2 Workspace.
We did an IIS reset on both the K2 and SharePoint servers.
and lastly cleared the browser cache on the pc that needs to load the worklist.
These steps resolved the issue the Worklist webpart now loads successfully
and was tested on other user pc's and accounts
