Symptoms


when a worklist item is assigned to an ad group (Plan Once - 1 Slot - Create a slot for each role) and a user Opens the worklist item it cannot be Released using either the Management app or the Workspace app. The only way to release it is for the allocated user to Release it them self which will be a problem if they are on leave etc.
 

Diagnoses


The ticket was linked to an existing bug item(Bug: Slot Recalculation issue: Worklist-item release doesn?t not work with K2 Role destination)

The workaround
I would suggest that they change the Client Activities Destination Rule Option to ?Resolve all Roles and groups to users?. This will successfully release the task and reallocate the task to all the users.

Resolution


We cannot confirm if this would be included in the next release of K2. However you can contact your local CAM for this information
