I have recently experienced a problem with my production environment where new workflows are not getting initiated.  This problem does not happen in any of my other environments and there hasn't been any code changes recently.  


The setup of my application involves some custom code, SharePoint and K2.  When a new list is created in SharePoint, XML is passed to K2 and the workflow gets started.  However it appears that K2 is even receiving the XML request because nothing is getting generated in the logs (error or success).


Typically this kind of thing usually is a port being closed or a security change but as far as I can see the necessary ports are open and no security changes have been made to the user accounts.


Other things I've looked for include stalled process instances in K2 but that didn't yield any results.
