Symptoms

My workflow has hit a spot that I cannot advance from, it is getting stuck on a default client event that just requires the user to mark it complete via a smartform. There are four parallel events running that are only different in name and they converge into a single event when completed. Three of the four work just fine but this one is just not going anywhere. it shows up in the work list as available and when it is marked complete the status changes to open, I have tried copying the event from one of the three working events and I have tried creating a new event but that doesn't seem to matter, it will move past it.
 

Diagnoses

The issue was caused by the rule in the form that uses wrong filed in the advanced condition. This is why the workflow never follow the line rule.
 

Resolution

Modify the rule to use the correct field resolved the issue.
