Workflow task failing

User has workflow tasks assigned however when they approve it the workflow does not progress to the next stage. Attempts to Redirect or Release the workflow has failed. This is quite common and a ticket was raised last time. All images have been attached.
 

Resolution



Issue was being caused by an Escalation Email placing the Process Instance into an error state , however the Viewflow was not showing that it is in error at all . *Logged for investigation* .

Issue resolved by Consultant . Fixed Escalation that was causing the problem
