When have an unusual problem with one of our workflow instances - it does not appear in any instances, worklists, reports or error lists in the K2 Workspace but yet it is available on the ViewFlow through a link. The peculiar thing about the process' current activity is that it is awaiting Approval by 3 users, but yet only 2 users are listed as participants. This could potentially happen think due to having removed a 3rd user from a role and now there are only 2 users available to authorise and the rule is stuck, however you cannot find the process instance in the workspace to allow you to move the activity on to the next one manually.
Is there a way to orphan the process or see where it has gone to.
Resolution
Once a user is removed and added to the role the identity will need to be refreshed as an 8 hour default timescale for to do this. So if the process has started just after the change within the destination then K2 may have not picked up the new user which could explain why the destination wasn't present.
At the moment there is no current way to start the process but this has been logged as a feature request already, and will be dealt with going forward in future releases of K2.
