Hello,

We are currently updating the text in an approval workflow task and then republishing the workflow, but the updated text is not being reflected in future approvals.  We updated the form and republished and we DO see updates to the forms, but we do not seem to see any updates in the text of the approval task emails after republishing.  Can they be cached or something?

 

We did clear out the SharePoint cache hoping that would resolve the issue, but no avail.

Any ideas/thoughs?

I would also clear out the SSL state. It may not do a think but it can't hurt to try!

...and when you clear out the cache, use the internet options to do it

Did you set up different mails to different approvers in the approval action? I had this once because I forgot that I defined a different mail to the secretary of the approver in the same approval action.

Could you provide a screenshot of the approval notification action?
