I am working on the project using Visual studion 2005, SQL server 2005 and Windows server 2003 with eventual migration to Windows 2008/SQL server 2008 platform within a few months after K2 Blackpearl releases its 0904 version.
When is that going to happen?
I assume you are referring to the release of Blackpearl 4.5. An official date is not known at the moment but it is in the beta cycles at the moment with a public beta coming soon. If I had to guess I would say that the release will be in within the first quarter of 2010.
Wish list:
BP 4.5 to support developing in VS2008 on Win7 x64 since that'll be our new workstation platform for 2010.
BP 4.5 to support developing in VS2008 while having VS2010 installed.
Actually, Windows Server 2008 and SQL Server 2008 are both supported with today's latest build (K2 blackpearl 0807 (4.8210.3.0)). Visual Studio 2008 support will come with K2 blackpearl 4.5 which is currently in beta.
