Symptoms

Hi,

A while back, we installed Visual Studio 2013 on K2 Production server by mistake. We want to uninstall the Visual Studio from the server now. Just wanted to confirm if there is any impact of doing so, or will anything stop working or get broken by uninstalling the full VS 2013. Also, what are the minimum components required to be installed on a production K2 server.

Please advise at the earliest.

if uninstallng the VS 2013 does not affect any prerequisit or its settings you will not face issues.

Minmum requirements are mentioned in the links. you can just install the k2 server in one machine and install other k2 components on other machines
 

Resolution

The customer closed the ticket with the following note:

We will first test this out on our test server to see nothing is impacted, and then uninstall from production server as needed.
"
