Symptoms

When designing a workflow within the workflow designer in SharePoint that includes user tasks, the workflow looks correct and all images are in place for each step.
When viewing the viewflow for the workflow, some of the user tasks images do not show up.
 

Diagnoses

On the problem step(s), where the icons are not been rendered correctly, is/are the Destination User(s) configured using a DataField variable?
If you switch this to use "Originator", for example, from the context browser, are the images rendered with correct icons as expected on the next instance of the workflow?

 

Resolution

If you answered YES to both questions in the DIAGNOSIS section, and you're running K2 blackpearl 4.6.11 please contact K2 Support for the related coldfix for this issue.

The FIX will be included in a future update of K2 blackpearl, post blackpearl 4.6.11.
