Symptoms

1. The user had a view that said it had been checked out by the user. The problem is, it had the little person icon instead of the green arrow and no options, as though it were checked out by someone else. No one could access this view.

2. The user had this line in an HTML template they were using
Instead, most emails are Times New Roman.

Resolution




1) The user had checked the view out with AAD account and was trying to check it in with her onPrem AD account. She just logged in to the AAD account and checked it in.

2) This is a bug in where an override occurs and fonts meant to apply at the document level are cast aside and Times New Roman wins the day. This ticket was attached to existing TFS items dealing with this.

To work around it we defined the proper font family to each of the tags individually and while cumbersome, it did the trick
