I made a test site with NINTEX form, it includes prople picker.
When I save new item, it takes around 1min 45sec, or sometimes fails as time-out.
When I try with SharePoint default form and name picker, it works correct.
...Would you give me your kindly help for solve the trouble?
do you have there any workflow that starts on item creation?
have you checked ULS logs for exact error when it fails?
One people picker itself shouldn't cause this behaviour. Do you use any validation as well? Any other settings you changed that might cause the problem?
+1Thank you for everyone, I found why and how to fix.
We should use 'old' people picker, 'cause new one refers AD directly, and old one refers SharePoint user list.
We have many AD at each country with trust relationship, so AD reference takes enormous amount of time...

Nice! Glad you found a solution! Seems to me as there is room for improvement for the new people picker control to also handle large AD environments in less time.
