Symptoms


Users from some domain are not able to access the K2 Forms due to SmartObject Error. Users from one of the domains are not able to access the application/K2 Forms due to SmartObject Error. The SmartObject is expecting the UserName, Domain and Login ID fields, these three fields are passed as "scnull" to the smartobject and causes the failure on SmartObject.
 

Diagnoses


After an online meeting with the user, we discovered that we couldn't reach one domain to successfully pull the right information from Active Directory.
 

Resolution

Customer worked with the network team to open the ports in the firewall. He used the script to refresh the cache for the users.
