Currently I have a server event that precedes client event, all it does is setting ActivityInstanceName to a data field.

It's being executed for each destination according to ViewFlow history.

I can try to put that code in Preceding Event, but is there any mechanism to instruct the server event to run just once instead of once per destination?  

This scenario could also occur when server event is placed after the client event.
