Just to clarify are you using the file attachment control on the Smartform to upload the documents amd the image attachment control to upload the images? Aslo are the chosen controls the ones which show progress? If so they will not work due silverlight not being supported on Safari. Lastly can you try accessing the form via google chrome for ipad and see if you get the same issue?

I use the file attachment control and it has the same behavior in both Safari and Chrome. I have a Image Attachment field with Image Attachment control as well and this works for images.

I've tested it on android too and it works there. Could it be that it is a configuration on iOS that is missing?
