Symptoms

In K2 Designer for SharePoint, the "Upload Document" wizard is not displaying in the Workflow Steps ribbon when I select "Documents". Also, error was encountered when trying to register a Sharepont Content Service Instance:

VALIDATION Failed to Initialize the Context:

User: blank]

Error Details: The remote server returned an error: (500) Internal Server error.

Diagnoses

The Upload Document wizard is only compatible with Sharepoint 2013 and K2 Blackpearl 4.6.11. Sharepoint Content Service Instance is also only compatible with Sharepoint 2010 and up.
 

Resolution

It was confirmed that the environment that this was attempted in was not on compatible versions of Sharepoint and Blackpearl. Current environment is running Sharepoint 2007 and at most 4.6.10. This is why the Upload document was not displaying and the Sharepoint Content Service could not be created.

This shows a document upload wizard when you view all versions of K2 documentation but, it is only compatible with 4.6.11 and Sharepoint 2013
