Upgrading .Net 2003 -> 4.6.11
Diagnoses
When trying to update your environment from .Net 2003 to 4.6.11. The upgrade path that was used is the following:
1230 -> 1420 -> 4.6.1. Now we are trying to upgrade from 4.6.1 to 4.6.11.
After this you a database incomplete error with the setup manager wizard. The error is:
An invalid database version was detected: 4.10100.1420.0
The K2 blackpearl Setup manager cannot continue,
Please contact K2 support for assistance.
Resolution
The correct upgrade path is the following:
- 1230 >>> 1420 >>> 4.6.>>> 4.6.6
- Use the consolidation tool v1.7 to consolidate the DB's
- Run the reconfigure on 4.6.6 with the consolidated DB's.
- Upgrade to 4.6.11
