Symptoms

 


We turned off SmartAction in 4.6.7. When we upgraded to 4.6.10, we weren't prompted with the SmartActions Exchange set up screen but then the configuration changed to turn on SmartActions. This caused invalid inbox messages to be processed to the end user.

 

 

 

Diagnoses

 


We manually changed the setting in the config file to disable SmartActions.

 

 

 

 

 

Resolution 

The K2 Blackpearl installer will pull values from K2 database when the software installer is ran. We suspected that it was due to SmartActions disabled manually via config file prior to the upgrade and it didn’t match the settings from database.
