Symptoms


Upgraded to 4.6.8 and installed k2 smartforms but emails are not being recieved
 

Diagnoses


upgraded to blackpearl 4.6.8 and also installed k2 smartforms
we have setup a form which when submitted should send notification to users, it works fine in Development server but in QA environment we cannot get email to work entered all the same settings as Dev
Scenario is when a request is submitted it sends email, notification to the users. The emails are not coming in currently for the tasks assigned.
 

Resolution

The connection string field for SMTP was over-written with a different value. We removed the connection config from the string editor and ran the setup manger (configuration) for K2 blackpearl. We verified the correct settings were being populated during setup for SMTP server and From fields.
