Symptoms

I have created a package but forgot to select the Include Data option for one of the SmartObjects. When I edit the package and select the data for that SmartObject, it isn't included when I deploy the package in another environment.
 

Diagnoses

This is a know issue with K2 Package and Deployment. There is a workaround to add data when editing an package.
 

Resolution

This workaround is for a package in which you forgot to select the “Data” option for a SmartObject. Using K2 Package and Deployment, follow the steps below to edit the package and add data.
1. Open K2 Package and Deployment.
2. Select Edit Package and open the desired package.
3. Select Add Item from the top ribbon.
4. Select the SmartObject you forgot to add data to.
5. Click the data tab and check the data checkbox.
6. Click Next, then keep or change the file name.
7. Click Finish to complete the package wizard.
