Hi All,

I have an Access DB and an Excel file on the same SharePoint site. I would like to automatically take a subset of data from the Access DB and insert it into the Excel file and then copy this Excel file to a different SharePoint site where the users opening the Excel file will not have access to the Access DB. Is this possible with Nintex Workflows? I will be using SharePoint 2016.

Hmm, well, I don't know too much about Access and I've not used it with Nintex before. You'd probably have to execute some kind of query. You could likely get your subset of data using an SQL query, if Access will allow that.

The rest of your request is somewhat easy. You can use Document Generation to populate the Excel file with data from what you get out of Access, and you can create an item in another site and probably get the file over there. I've not done this before, I'll have to try it out!
