Hi

I created a Smartobject based on a Sharepoint List

I then wanted to make some changes to the Sharepoint List (add some fields, change some properties etc.)

I refreshed the service instance using the service tester tool and the changes showed OK

I then refreshed the Smartobject in the same way but the new fields would not show as properties.  No matter what I did I could not see the new information.   In the end I had to re-create the smartobject to pick up the changes.

Is there a special method I need to use to refresh a smartobject after a change has been made in a Sharepoint List.  I don't believe I have to re-create the SO every time

thanks
Paul

refreshing the smartobject will not update the properties. Avoid using smartobject tester tool. Use Site Actions-->K2 Site Settings-->K2 SmartObject Site Lists and Libraries

When using the page in SharePoint, it recreates the smartobject behind the scenes. If you use smartobject tester tool, it gets complicated to maintain the same GUIDs.
