How to update Workflow version for existing K2 processes after I deploy an updated workflow?

Resolution

Existing process instances can only run under the version of the process they were started in. Only new instances will be able to run on the most recent deployed version of the process. We have logged a feature request to allow users to migrate their instances to the latest version available. For now, you may consider the following options:

1. Using the Process Instance Migration Tool which is readily available on the K2 Community. Do take note that the projects from Community are unofficial tools which aren?t supported by K2.

We have also logged a Feature Request to have PIM tool integrated with the k2 product and linked this ticket to TFS item. The Feature Request once reviewed will be fixed in the future versions of the K2 product.
