I have set a number of controls to the date format but when the create list item is executed then K2 updates my SP list with a completey different format
This is my form in runtime, remember that the styles are set.
Is there a way to make the form format match the SP list????

You can apply the dateformat on control in k2 smartfoms yyyy/mm/dd .
Please follow the step .
1.Got ot Datecontrol property style
2.Click on stlye
3.in tab format click on custom and select the exting type yyyy/mm/dd else you can create your own format as well . please find below snap shot in more details .

I had set the styles up to the format I wanted and even the custom designed styles do not seem to work.
Maybe I have an issue with the control type within SP list itself.....
