If I have an Action where "This action will update the work item" and "Make the action available without opening the work item" is checked, it appears that calling Execute on that Action leaves the work item with a Status of Open.

Is this the expected behavior?

Calling Release() on the item works (preserves data changes but changes the Status to Available), but that's an extra round trip to the server.
