I'm helping troubleshoot a workflow issue - we are using SharePoint 2010. The user has a list with under 400 items in it. He has 3 different workflows. He needs to run his workflows manually on existing list items. Everything works fine for items created after April 24, 2017. He gets a "Value does not fall within the expected range" error when he tries to run any workflow on an item prior to that April 24 ceration date. I created a very simple workflow and tried to run it manually and had the same result. Any ideas of what may be preventing the workflow from running on those older items? Thanks.

do you see the error in workflow history log or directly in list view or on workflow start page or ...?
does the workflow have start page?
does it fail on any specific workflow action?
if you could post some screenshot what you actually see it might help to understand the problem.
This kind of more technical issue deserves a Nintex Support ticket.
Why don't you report a Support Ticket for this issue? Marcy Satalich 
One question that I would ask is was there a change to the forms or list/library fields on or about April 24th, 2017? It may be content that was added after that date is required for the workflow to run. Open an item that the workflow works on and on one that it does not and see if there are differences or if perhaps the old item will not save due to validation errors. If an older item will open and save, try running the workflow after the item has recently been saved.
