Hi,
Currently I cannot set permission for new user from the K2.net Service Manager. How to resolve this?

Can you explain what exactly is happening? Do you get any error messages?

When I try to find user by specifying the userid, the search result only shows Anonymous. If no userid specified, all the userid will be listed except for the new user and I did not encounter any error.

How did you add the new user mentioned in the above statement?
By Default K2.net 2003 makes use of MS Active Directory as its user manager which means that all users returned in the search are valid user accounts on AD. To create a new user account one needs to make use of AD. Note: the search will not return any local users or groups added to the local machine ONLY AD accounts.
Yes, all the new users are added from AD.
When I tried to search for the existing users (which is also a valid user accounts in AD) from K2/SM, the search result still return Anonymous.
Previously I was able to search and got the result according to the userid that I keyed in.

For some reason your K2.net Service Manager can not connect to your domain controller. Check your network. Also have a look in the K2Server.config file for the LDAP string pointing to your domain.
Are you sure you're logged in to the domain?
Is K2.net Server started under a valid domain account? (Not local Administrator or local user)
Can you ping your domain controller?

We able to ping to the Domain Controller.
K2Server.config file also pointing to the right Domain Controller.

Could be due to a lot of reasons. Please open a formal support request through the K2.net Partner and Customer portal at http://portal.k2workflow.com
