Getting this error in K2 designer for SharePoint when trying to edit the ipc event wizard;
Unable to retrieve a list of sub-workflows from the server
Invalid archive type
This was working fine for us and then all of a sudden we get this error and we cannot edit the workflow.
Have you recently upgraded? "Invalid archive type" is generally the result of differing assembly versions. Verify (via Programs and Features) that your K2 versions match between machines and that if running Smartforms you have a compatible version.
The K2 versions are the same on the K2 server as well as the SharePoint server and our client machines. We are not running smartforms. This happens in the K2 designer for SharePoint IPC event wizard. So when you drop a sub process event on the screen when the wizard trys to lookup processes available it comes up with this error and will not load the process dropdown.
