Symptoms

Unable to Refresh Service Instance after upgrade to 4.6.11

Diagnoses

When you have just recently upgrade the K2 server to 4.6.11 from 4.6.10 and after running the K2 for SharePoint install on your 2010 server, it does not seem possible to refresh the sharepoint service instances.
Strangely you can use the SharePoint Service V2 broker to connect to the root web application however when you use the same broker you get the error......

SmartObject Server Exception: Error refreshing Service Instance 'TransactionSites'. Service returned : '

The SharePoint Service V2 broker only supports SharePoint Server 2010 and 2007. Verify the version of SharePoint you?re connecting to, and if it?s SharePoint 2013, use the SharePoint broker instead.

Resolution

Check the credential manager via the control panel to try and clear the cache here and then re add the users here.
After perform a service restart and then try to refresh the service instance once again, this should help resolve this issue.
