I'm not able to open K2 workflow from K2 Studio now. I used to open and update them using the same login. "Exception has been thrown by the target of an invocation."
 

 

Diagnoses

 


I get Access Denied When i try to open the smartform from K2 SmartForm on the K2 server: The error that was being thrown when opening the workflow was this: ************** Exception Text ************** System.UnauthorizedAccessException: Access to the path 'C:hFILEPATH]/AWORKFLOWNAME] is denied. at System.IO.__Error.WinIOError(Int32 errorCode, String maybeFullPath)
 

 

Resolution

The issue was related to Folder permissions and running K2 Studio as an Admin.

 

 

 

Once we explicitly added the K2 Service Account to the folder permission and ran K2 Studio as an Administrator, the issue was resolved.
