Unable to open attachment on K2 Mobile for iOS and Android

Symptoms


The following error appears when opening an attachment on the SmartForm from the K2 mobile for iOS app:-
"Unsupported file type"

As for on the Android app, no error appears but the user is not able to open attachments.
 

Diagnoses


The error only appears when trying to open an attachment from the K2 mobile app. This was found to be known issue on the K2 mobile app itself on both iOS and Android devices, and not on the smartforms or blackpearl side.
 

Resolution

The fix will go live in the next release of Mobile apps, which is slated to be out around the 24th of August.
