Unable to install K2 4.6.5 client components

Diagnoses

I was unable to install K2 4.6.5 in one of my laptops. I just want to install only the client components. But while installing it is asking me to select the existing database server. Is there anyway can I just install the client tools for k2 for visual studio and K2 connect and able to create the service objects and smart objects? 

Resolution 

If you wish to install just the K2 blackpearl 4.6.5 Client tools, I believe there is a "Client Tools Only" installation option using the "Existing Environment" will require that the installation account have dbo or dbreader and dbwriter to read/write configuration to/from the K2 database so it can retrieve the configuration information and setup the client tools accordingly. Alternatively, the "Manually configured environment" option can be used to manually configure these value without the need to access the K2 database for these information.
