Symptoms
When trying to deploy InfoPath Integration process via K2 for VS, customer received the following errors. However, the process was deployed via K2 Studio successfully “Cannot evaluate the item metadata “%(FullPath)”. The item metadata “%(FullPath)” cannot be applied to the path “objDebig|Any CPU[Process].dll” Illegal characters in path. C:Program Files(x86)MSBuild12.0inMicrosoft.Common.CurrentVersion.targets”
Diagnoses
The issue was caused by corrupt K2 Designer for VS on the client machine.
Resolution
Customer was able to deploy the process successfully after running K2 blackpearl with repair option on the client machine.
